Job Administrative Supervisor specification

We are seeking for an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Supervisor to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in accounting operations, including data entry, record maintenance (Filing), and financial tasks. Key responsibilities include processing invoices, reconciling accounts. The Administrative Supervisor will contribute to the accuracy of financial reports and ensure compliance with accounting procedures for the organization's financial well-being.

Administrative Supervisor Responsibilities:

Data entry of financial transactions and accurate filing of financial records
Maintaining accurate financial records and ensure easy retrieval
Handling correspondence and inquiries to statutory bodies
Ensuring compliance with accounting procedures
Collaborating with the finance team on any assignments
Preparing reports for Bank of Zambia monthly
Provide documents to both internal & external team
Managing six team members
Team leader for stock taking both beverages and dairy
Compile stock taking reports for head office
Compile Central statics reports quarterly
Any other jobs assigned

Administrative Supervisor Requirements and Skills:

Full Grade 12 certificate or GCE with at least merits in (Commerce, principles of accounts, English and for mathematics at least a credit)
Bachelor of accounting degree from the Copperbelt University or any state/GRZ university preferable
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
Experience with SAP is an added advantage
Attention to detail and accuracy
Organizational and time-management skills
Basic understanding of accounting principles
Strong numerical and data entry skills
Communication and interpersonal abilities
Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance
Problem-solving and analytical skills
Adaptability and willingness to learn
Able to command English both written and spoken fluently
Full understanding of at least basic accounting standards such as ZICA regulations

Membership required

· Technician ZICA membership fully paid up to 2025
