Job title: ACCOUNTANT
Reporting to: Finance Manager
Location: Ndola
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will inter-alia be responsible for the following:
- Timely preparation of monthly financial and management accounts and reports.
- Ensure key staff are managed effectively i.e. Assistant Accountants.
- Enforce efficiency through daily processing of transactions.
- Monthly reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
- Ensure that statutories are timeously paid.
- Any other duties that may be assigned by the Finance Manager
PREREQUISITES
The ideal candidate should posses the following attributes and qualifications
- An Accounting Degree/Professional qualification such as C.I.S., ACCA or CIMA.
- Must be registered with ZICA.
- At least 3 years experience in a similar position in a retail entity.
- Conversant with Sage line 1000 accounting package and POS System.
