Brean Enterprises is a seasoned software development and technical support firm that has been running for more than 7 years. We are seeking for Software developers with the following skill set:

1. Software Developer

Reports to Business Development Manager. The incumbent will develop software applications according to the devised requirements, improve the performance of existing features and fix arising bugs.

Main duties

  • Designs and develops features that meet the written requirements; improve existing features and develop solutions that ensure smooth upgrade of software by end-users
  • Contributes to the development of clear and concise requirements on the features to be developed
  • Develops clear technical and user documentation of all aspects of the systems in development and maintenance
  • Ensures that all codes developed have associated test units, with comprehensive and clear test cases
  • Ensures that all identified bugs are properly documented and fixed on time
  • Participates in the trainings of end-users of the various system features being developed
    Actively participate in code-reviews
  • Improves system quality by identifying issues and common patterns, and developing standard operating procedures

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 Certificate
  • Minimum Diploma in Computer Science, or any related field
  • Work experience in a Software Development environment is an added advantage.
  • Experience and poses a solid understanding of object-oriented programming – C#, Java, etc
  • Experience and poses a solid understanding in any web-based programming technology – C#, Java, JavaScript, PHP, etc
  • Solid understanding of RDBMS. Should have an ability to translate complex data requirements into efficient SQL code for reporting and data extractions for analysis purposes
  • Familiarity with any of the version control systems, e.g. git, subversion, etc
  • Familiarity or experience working with various software development frameworks
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, exercise discretion and independent judgement in the execution of duties

2. Internship Software Developer

  • Good knowledge of Test Driven Development
  • Good knowledge of Mobile Development (Android or IOS)
  • Excellent knowledge of Web development using C# and PHP
  • Good knowledge of UI development (Looking for a back end developer or a full stack developer.)
  • Basic knowledge of Javascript
  • Basic knowledge of Relational Databases.
  • Use of github
  • and should have great attitude to learn and a team player.

3. Administrative Officer

Reports to the Business Development Manager. Administrative officers are responsible for day-to-day task management in within an organization. This role requires multitasking across a range of responsibilities, including scheduling, handling payroll and accounting activities, receiving and forwarding communications, and taking care of more general clerical duties. Administrative officers may also be responsible for event planning and organization, as well as serving as a greeter for incoming clients.

Responsibilities for Administrative Officer

  • Organizing and managing schedules and calendars for staff, managers, and senior-level officers
  • Receiving and processing communication channels, including email, phone, and physical mail
  • Assisting human resources department with payroll and personnel databases
  • Conferring with accounting department to help make payments, process incoming invoices, and verify receipts
  • Ensure functionality of necessary office equipment, and requisitioning new equipment and supplies as needed
  • Creating reports and memos for managers and senior-level officers as needed
  • Offer assistance in organizing events, including ordering materials and requisitioning meeting spaces
  • Attend meetings and record notes and messages for managers and senior-level officers

Qualifications for Administrative Officer

  • An Associate’s Diploma in a related field, such as office administration, may be preferred
  • Working knowledge of necessary productivity tools, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • years of work experience
  • Knowledge of, or the ability to quickly learn how to use standard office equipment, modern phone systems, and copy machines
  • Prior experience using spreadsheet software, including Excel
  • Proven experience being able to handle multiple tasks at the same time
  • Notable organizational skills and the ability to provide organization and structure that others can follow
  • Strong communication skills and the willingness to make phone calls, emails, and other communications with clients
  • Comfortable working independently when needed, or as part of a team
