Our client in food and beverage industry is looking for Inline Lab Sampler & Analyst to ensure the implementation and maintenance of an effective hygiene system in the production lines and environment to guarantee food safety
JOB SPECIFICATION
REPORTING STRUCTURE
Reporting To: Quality Assurance Manager
Supervision Of: Workmen
Interacts With: Middle Management, Internal & External Stakeholders
JOB DESCRIPTION
Carry out random GMP audits of entire factory; highlight gaps and recommend corrective actions to be implemented
Collects Hygiene samples for production lines, plant environment, hand swabs
Collects bulk product, finished product for sensory, microbiological and chemical analysis by the laboratory
Release lines for production in case of major shutdown or after contamination of the lines e.g. after maintenance activities
Ensures correct cleaning chemicals & tools are used in each area of the factory and monitor the implementation of effective cleaning for all production lines and environment in conjunction with the production departments
Coordinates 5S and good housekeeping activities at the factory floor
Undertakes 3rd party supplier assessment when required and external warehouse audits
Sampling of all raw materials entering the factory and distributing them to the various QA sections for analysis
Ensure and monitoring the proper recording of all Quality, Safety and Food safety records in the factory with particular emphasis to pest control, net weights, product coding, cleaning records, temperatures records, CCP and OPRP records, raw material codes for traceability etc
Monitor and ensure good quality of seaming, sealing wrapping, palletising, stacking of all cans or boxes produced
CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION
Experience: 3 years
Education Level: Degree
Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Food Science, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology or related discipline.
Software: MS Office
Equipment: Any work related

Ability To: Co-ordinate the activities of the In-Line analysis
