Job Purpose/Mission
EEA Zambia is looking for a bright, highly motivated and disciplined Technician with a passion for entrepreneurship, renewable energy, and financial inclusion to join our team.

Responsibilities

Inventory – Returns & Deliveries

  • Offload returns from the Field
  • Sort the returns in an orderly manner (follow 5s)
  • Assist in tech center Inventory counts and reconciliations

Refurbishments and Kitting

  • Refurbish kit accessories e.g solar panels, light bars and charging cables to meet monthly targets as set by Field Ops & Tech Team Lead
  • Clean refurbished Power systems and accessories
  • Sort refurbished items using 5S
  • Assist in kitting targets for “refurbished kits” as set my Team Lead

Knowledge and skills

Experience:

  • Ability to read and write
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong communication – ability to communicate with others to ensure proper
  • Understanding of the importance of teamwork
  • Special attention to detail
  • Professional demeanor and work ethic

Qualifications:

  • Full grade 12 certificate
  • Certificate in a relevant field from a recognized institution is a plus

Language(s):

  • English

Technology:

  • Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft office
