JOB TITLE: MARKETING MANAGER
REPORTING TO: GENERAL MANAGER –CLAIMS
NO. OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Minimum of five years of Marketing in Insurance
With three years served at senior level.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors’ Degree in Marketing, Advanced Diploma
In Insurance we will be an added advantage.
Must be a member of ZIM
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Marketing Manager – should be able to demonstrate applied marketing and business strategies that result in sales growth, improved customer satisfaction and retention levels. The candidate should grow national level Market share through active Management of sales operations in our network of branches, developing new business acquisition strategies, improving brand reputation, managing our sales team, performance, coaching and mentoring them to deliver exceptional customer service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND SPECIFIC TASKS
- Monitoring and analyzing market trends in insurance products.
- Develop sales and marketing goals/objectives for Goldman Insurance in the short, medium and long term.
- Studying Competitors products and services
- Exploring ways of improving existing products and services and increasing profitability
- Identifying target markets and developing strategies to communicate with them
- Preparing and managing marketing plans and budgets
- Managing the production of promotional material
- Liaising with other internal departments
- Producing reports to monitor results
- Supporting and managing a Marketing team
- Presenting Findings and suggestions to Company Management.
- Growing the direct business portfolio and acquiring new business
- Maintaining relationships with customers by organizing and developing specific customer – relations programs, participating at conventions, annual meetings, trade associations and seminars.
- Maintains marketing staff job results by recruiting and coaching new staff.
- Play a leading role in the acquisition of new business and collection of premiums from clients and intermediaries.
- Assist the company to acquire new customers and sell the company products with the ambition to expand or diversify the company clientele.
- Demonstrate business planning skills to achieve business sales targets
- Ensure to grow the corporate account base with emphasis on government institutions and private institutions
