IT and Data Entry Intern

IT

1. Responsible for setting up and providing help desk services to users.
2. Recommends specifications of ICT devices.
3. Troubleshoots network problems
4. Maintain and improve organizational ICT equipment’s such as Laptops and Desktops
5. Configure and Install software on User Laptops
6. Assist Programs Team with Data Entry
7. To check and analyze Internet, Routers, Switches, LAN, end user computers, printers and UPS system for defects and malfunction.
8. Provide specialist advise to Management on ICT Policy issues

DATA ENTRY

1. Review key data elements on Grassroot Soccer Monitoring and Evaluation paper tools
2. Support data capturing from paper tools into the Grassroot Soccer M&E online system (Sales Force)
3. Prepares source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information; establishing entry priorities.
4. Regularly collect attendance and Pre/Post data from coaches
5. Perform data entry and seek assistance from coaches when in need
6. Regularly assist with providing updates and changes on the M&E Tools
7. Conduct interviews, Focused Group Discussions and collect qualitative data
8. Secure information by completing data base backups.
9. Filing and securing hard copy data once inputted into the system

Qualifications

1. Grade 12 Certificate with 5 ‘O’ levels with credit in Mathematics and English
2. Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science or Library and Information Studies
3. Extensive knowledge with Office 360 package Administration
4. Certifications in Cisco packages such as IT essentials and Networks will be an added advantage
