A company specialising in industrial catering on mine sites is urgently seeking an executive chef.  The candidate will be responsible for professional food preparation and to form part of a senior leadership team on a mine site.

The main responsibilities will be:

  • menu and meal management
  • hygiene and food safety compliance
  • plan and develop recipes and menus including estimation of food and labour costs and food supply requirements
  • monitor the quality of dishes prepared and presented to client

The candidate must have a qualification in catering and hotel management or a similar diploma.  Must have at least 3-5 years experience in food preparation and a proven leadership position in a culinary brigade for a period of at least 3 years
