Key Account Representative

We are looking for a Key Account Representative

In this position, you will be reporting to the Key Accounts Manager. You will be responsible for managing Key Accounts, execution of local key account strategy and ensuring required revenue and margin growth in these channels.

Among other responsibilities, you are expected to:

• Define a medium and long-term strategy for Key Accounts with a clear understanding of their decision making processes, strategy and expansion plans
• Monitor Key Account weekly and monthly sales reports by monitoring sales performances against budget
• Develop and implement a Key Account plan in order to maximise volume, profit and share performance
• Ensure that objectives in terms of availability, visibility, volume, margin, quality (e.g. RQI) and customer price of products are achieved for key accounts
• Assess business performance for the Company and competitors in Key Accounts in order to enhance effectiveness of developed trade programmes
• Support Key Account Manager in the definition of trade & route to market strategy, clarifying Key Accounts requirements
• Manage volume and revenue growth for the Key Account Channel
• Manages new SKU listings to customer and implementations

If you have the following:

• Full Grade twelve certificate
• Degree in a Marketing or Business related field
• Minimum of three (3) years’ work experience in the FMCG industry
• Computer Literacy ( i.e. Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Customer Engagement
• Effective communication and presentation skills
• Negotiation and influencing skills
• Ability to analyze data
• Good communicator
• Team leadership skills
