RESPONSIBILTIES
- Analyze customer needs and offer adequate solution;
- Establish Sales Forecast with Customer and communicate to procurement so that to ensure parts and components availability and secure sales
- Ensure a weekly backorder report is sent to all clients through appropriate reporting
- Analyze Market Share by product category, promote sales of non-moving items and increase Sales following action plan discussed with the PSSR and the Project Manager to develop the business
- Analyze open quotation and obtain feedback from customer on those quotations
- Ensure proper processing of quotations, sales and services orders are done on the ERP system
- Give proper delivery instructions to logistics/Warehouse department and ensure follow up is made
- Ensure a monthly statement of account is sent to clients with collaboration of Finance team and take actions in case of disputed invoices
- Perform a weekly Sales Reporting
- Perform parts and equipment receipt process on the ERP system
- Perform parts delivery process on the ERP system
- Back-up for the Warehouseman
- Expediting follow-up
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- Diploma in a business field
- A Level – Technical background appreciated (Mechanical)
- Similar experience in sales or distribution department, preferably in Import/Export or spare parts business
- Member of the Zambia Institute of Marketing (ZIM)
- IT : ERP + MS Office
