About the Job: The Chief of Staff is a Senior Executive who works closely with the CEO and other top executives of an organization. He/she plays a critical role in helping the organization achieve its goals by providing strategic direction, coordination, communication, and leadership. The person should reflect a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical experience that can help them succeed in their role.


Strategic Planning: The Chief of Staff works with the CEO and other top executives to develop and implement the organization’s strategic plan.

Coordination: The Chief of Staff coordinates the activities of different departments within the organization to ensure that everyone is working towards the same goals.

Communication: The Chief of Staff communicates with stakeholders, including employees, investors, customers, and vendors, to keep them informed of the organization’s activities and progress.

Decision-Making: The Chief of Staff provides the CEO and other top executives with information and analysis to support decision-making.Decision-Making: The Chief of Staff provides the CEO and other top executives with information and analysis to support decision-making.

Operations: The Chief of Staff manages the day-to-day operations of the organization and ensures that everything runs smoothly.

Liaison: The Chief of Staff acts as a liaison between the CEO and other top executives and external stakeholders, such as government officials, regulators, and industry groups.


The Chief of Staff should have the following skills, Education, and experience,

  • Bachelor’s Degree in social sciences, a Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
  • Relevant work experience in management, administration, or leadership roles is highly valued in this role
  • Extensive work experience in fields such as management consulting, finance, or government. Gained expertise in strategic planning, project management, and leadership will be highly valued.
  • 3 years of relevant work experience
