1 ) BRANCH MANAGER

  • A professional qualification in any Business Discipline or a degree in Business Administration or its equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an automotive business at a similar level.
  • Good Finance and Business acumen.
  • Good Communication skills, problem solving and solution oriented.
  • Strong planning, organizing and leadership skills

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Chief Operating

Officer, the successful candidate will oversee the effective management of the branch. The key responsibilities among many others include the following: –

  • Overall accountability and responsibility for the Branch business, its assets, facilities, stocks and people.
  • Effective operation by ensuring Customer Service delivery
  • Ensuring that operations are always at the optimum staffing and efflciency levels as required by the Distributor and the respective Brand.
  • Work with distributor functional heads to ensure implementation of all programs, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, reporting and management criteria.
  • Ensure effective budgeting and performance to achieve the set targets.
  • Effective control / monitoring & management of facility, stocks, relevant financial transactions, approvals and controls for all transactions in the business.
  • Asset / Stock management through monitoring levels and stock days for all business areas.
  • Service Key Performance Indicators (KPls): Productivity, Utilization & Efficiency Branch achievement.
  • Management of the staff development program: Staff training plan and skills matrix for each staff member.
  • Build and maintain strong working relations with both the internal and external customers and service providers.
  • Follow up on customer complaints and ensure they are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring good customer care throughout the branch across departments.
  • Co-ordinate the effective management of all brands and products promoted by the group and work in synergy with all group companies.
  • Facility maintenance care, safety and security.
  • Any other duties that may be required from time to time

2) SERVICE MANAGER

KEY QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCES

  • Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Technical Engineering.
  • Technical background with not less than 5 years ot work experience at Supervisory level.
  • Passion for Customer Service.
  • Good Communications and Interpersonal skills.
  • Well vested in product knowledge
  • Strong Reporting skills.
  • Strong Computer Literacy — reporting skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: – Reporting to the National Service Manager, the successful candidate will among other many duties ensure effective and efficient management of the Service Department in line with the Company guidelines through: –

  • Satisfactory Management of staff Issues in the Service Department
  • Managing Customer issues to the highest expectations / standards
  • Managing the various Management reports on weekly and monthly basis
  • Monitoring Workshop environment and safety issues.
  • Monitoring / coordination of service, parts and vehicle Sales through regular inter-departmental meetings.
  • Monitoring customer satisfaction reports and develop service offers by targeting new customers and fleet companies.
  • Customer Retention.

3) PARTS MANAGER

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCES

  • Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing and Supply or any Business discipline.
  • Traceable Leadership skills with 5 years of Management experience in a busy operation centre preferably parts business.
  • Passion for Customer Service.
  • Good Communications and Interpersonal skills.
  • Strong Computer Skills with ability to do various reports.
  • Experience in the Motor Industry would be an added advantage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: – Reporting to the National Parts Manager, the successful candidate will among other many duties ensure effective and efficient management of Parts department by meeting the customers’ expectations in line with the company guidelines as follows: –

  • Ensure effective stock management through carrying out regular stock takes and minimizing stock variances.
  • Monitoring and coordination of parts, service and vehicle
  • Sales through regular inter-departmental meetings.
  • Liaison with Parts Distributor Support Team representatives and enhancing the strong business relations.
  • Oversee and coordinate the generation of accurate annual sales forecasts for the specific product to ensure suffcient stock availability at all times.
  • Work with the Marketing team to identify advertising plans & Sales promotions.
  • Preparing accurate budgets & Managing expenses as well as achieving margins on product Sales.
  • Monitoring and regulating debtor days through enforcing timely debt collection for better liquidity flow.
  • Analysis of Market studies i.e. costing and recommendations pertaining to parts.
  • Management of the staff development program: Staff training plan and skills map for each staff member.
  • Ensure correct EPC usage and part number interpretation.
  • Managing and monitoring the performance of the department.
  • Implementation and adherence of parts standard procedures for the department.
  • Customer Retention.

4) SALES MANAGER

KEY QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCES

  • Degree in Sales & Marketing or any Business field
  • 5 years Working experience in the Related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proven performance track record
  • Customer focused
  • Strong Computer Literacy — reporting skills
  • Negotiations and Analytical skills

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES: Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for customer satisfaction and vehicle sales growth through the following among other:

  • Vehicle sales activities to ensure Market penetration & ultimately increase market share.
  • Oversee and coordinate the generation of accurate annual sales forecasts for the specific product to ensure sufficient stock availability at all times.
  • Working with the Marketing team to identify advertising plans & sales promotions.
  • Preparing accurate budgets & Managing expenses as well as achieving margins on product sales.
  • Monitoring and regulating debtor days through enforcing timely debt collection for better liquidity flow.
  • Work with the Marketing team to identify advertising plans & Sales promotions.

5) GRADUATE TRAINEES (12)

We offer a limited opportunity to twelve (12) top Graduates w o aspire to join our two (2) year Graduate Trainee program.

The aim of this program is to provide in-depth working knowledge of a leading multi-national brand.

We are ONLY interested in highly talented people who meet the following criteria:

  • Grade 12 Certificate
  • Bachelor of science in Engineering
  • Computer literacy – well versed with Microsoft Offce Packages
  • Not more than 25 years of age
  • Fresh University Graduate. Should have graduated this year or 2021
  • Preferably No prior work experience
  • Positive and energetic attitude
  • Basic Leadership attributes which are ready to be harnessed
  • Strong Communications skills

The Program;

Graduates will be required to undergo an intensive Management Development preparation for the future roles in the organization based on performance. The following are the key deliverables among others;

  • Gain Knowledge, skills and experience across the business
  • Delivery of project work and assignments
  • Understand and perform duties across several divisions / departments
  • Participate in assigned training programs
  • Completion of performance and developmental reviews as per agreed program requirements.

6) APPRENTICES – (12)

We are ONLY interested in a highly talented person who will meet criteria below and who will be on a Four Year Apprentice

Training Program: –

  • Must have full Grade 12 GCE certificate and graduated in 2020 with at least Five Credits in Mathematics, English, Science and any other two subjects
  • Not More than 21 years of age as at 1st July, 2022
  • The Candidates should have passion to work for Automotive Industry as a preferred Career
  • The Candidates should show that they have leadership qualities
  • Should be able to pass Technical Training Courses as Toyota Zambia will pay for their 12 months Technical College training (Certificate in Motor Vehicle Systems City of Guilds).

What is a Toyota Zambia Apprenticeship program?

Your four-year apprenticeship program will combine training with paid employment. You will work at one of the Toyota Zambia Branch Workshops but also undergo training at a Government Technical College for one year. You will work under Toyota trained Technicians gaining valuable workplace skills by undertaking practical tasks and experiencing real-life challenges. You will undergo a learning plan, With progress monitored by our in-house Toyota Training Instructors during your training. Once qualified as a Technician you can enter the Toyota Motor Corporation Technician TEAM-GP training program. Starting at Toyota Technician, and then enrolling into the other levels of training which are Pro-Technician, Diagnostic Technician and the highest certification being Diagnostic Master Technician. These are worldwide Toyota recognized certifications.
