Business Development Associate
Job Description
The business development Associate will be responsible for boosting growth and sales of the company. They will also:
1. Conduct market research to drive business expansion and identify potential market penetration.
2. Develop business strategies and execute them diligently.
3. Build and nurture client relationships.
4. Identify new business opportunities in line with the set strategic objectives.
5. Ensure that the social responsibility of the company is met on a monthly basis
6. Write comprehensive weekly reports.
Other duties will include developing marketing strategies and pitches, managing a variety of projects, and identifying new business opportunities. You will work with the operations manager and head chef in developing some of these strategies.
The successful applicant will be resourceful, organized and motivated to increase sales, enhance the company’s reputation, and look for new and creative ways to market our products and services.
Applicant must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various staff, and clients.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
a) Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, or related field.
b) 1 – 2 years’ relevant work experience in business development or similar field preferred.
c) Experience in the hospitality industry is an added advantage.
d) Experience in digital marketing is an added advantage.
e) Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
f) Strong organization and project management skills.
g) Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
