Sale and Marketing Intern
Nilandi Web Services is a web development and software deployment company whose aim is to help businesses get ahead by automating their day-to-day business processes thereby creating convenience for their clients while improving efficiency of business operation.
We are searching for a committed, deadline-driven Sales Intern to join our team.
The Sales Intern will complete all tasks assigned by the Manager, which may include conducting research, identifying business opportunities, managing client profiles, generating sales leads,
making cold calls, participating in meetings, and assisting the Sales department wherever possible. You should be able to take instruction, but also work unsupervised when required.
To be successful as a Sales Intern, you should be willing to learn as much about the company as possible and be able to spot opportunities that have been overlooked by others. Outstanding Sales Interns are problem solvers who know the value of building lasting, professional relationships with clients.
Sales Intern Responsibilities:
- Identify and generate sales leads.
- Research and generate lists of potential customers
- Meet daily, weekly and monthly targets
- Help develop customer relationships and retain existing accounts
- Perform administrative tasks
- Attending and participating in meetings, events, and exhibitions.
- Observing and carrying out sales processes.
- Identifying potential weaknesses and offering improvement suggestions.
- Able to write industry relevant articles
- Reviewing sales performance against sales targets.
Sales Intern Requirements:
- Fresh graduate of Computer science, Business Administration, marketing or related field
- Ability to network and interact with prospective clients
- Strong self-motivation.
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
- Ability to cope with rejection.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm in fast-paced environments.
