The Role:
You will be responsible for preparing, printing and assembly of signage, digital print, and wide format graphics. Duties include creating and setting files to print, producing and finishing printed materials. Your input will ensure the print production service runs smoothly and efficiently while maintaining and developing customer relationships through excellent communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Layout and preparation of files ready to print using RIP software.
Operation of wide format print equipment – Roll to roll and flatbed UV printers, digital cutter and associated finishing.
Finishing and assembly of printed materials – Vinyl cutting and weeding, lamination, trimming and assembly of signage and exhibition stands.
Packaging and preparing goods for dispatch.
Performing daily operator maintenance on print and finishing equipment.
Maintain a high level of safety, cleanliness and organisation within the workplace.
Ad-hoc duties as directed by the Business Manager.
Successful Applicant Requirements:
Experienced users of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to amend, create and file fix where necessary. Ability to create cut files would also be advantageous.
A background in digital printing preferably within Wide format Graphics and Signage. Experience with pasting and application of prints would be an advantage.
A flexible attitude and ability to work across multiple projects while maintaining the highest quality output is a must for this role.
Excellent communication skills. The ability to interpret and discuss job information with multiple stakeholders with different demands and deadlines.
An understanding of customer care and the client relationship.
The ability to work under pressure adhering to tight production deadlines.
