Job Description:

Office Clerk (1)

Reporting to: The Manager

Responsibilities

As an Office Clerk you will be required to:

  • Deliver messages and run errands
  • Review files, records and other documents to obtain information to respond to requests
  • Maintain and update filling either manually or using a computer
  • Process and prepare documents, such as business or government forms and expense reports
  • Prepare meeting agendas, attend meetings and keep record of minutes
  • Operate office machines such as photocopiers and scanners.

Skills needed:

  • Active listening- giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times
  • Reading comprehension- understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents
  • Speaking- talking to others to convoy information effectively
  • Very good oral and written communication skills
  • Social perceptiveness- being aware of others reactions and understanding why they react as they do.

Experience

Job Description:

Assistant Engineer- positions (3)

Reporting to: the project Manager

Responsibilities

As an Assistant Engineer you will be required to:

  • Participate in the development and execution of engineering projects
  • Provide statistical reports and data on the engineering project to carefully document the process
  • Provide necessary invoicing , purchase needed materials and equipment
  • Meeting cost standards by preparing cost –benefit analysis, tracking and reporting expenses
  • Resolving engineering problems by collecting and analyzing information researching, modifying engineering techniques, recommending solutions preparing drawings and diagrams
  • Visit site, prepare construction drawings and develop samples.
  • Provide technical assistant to field staff when needed

Experience and Skills required:

  • A  Diploma in Civil Engineering.
  • A Bachelor’s degree may be preferred.
  • A completed apprenticeship or similar experience is recommended.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Practical experience using CAD software may be required.
  • Ability to follow instructions and to collaborate with others.
  • 2-3 years of work experience

Job Description:

Grader Operators- positions (2)

Reporting to: the project Manager

Responsibilities

As a grader operator you will be required to:

  • Operate equipment to avoid utility lines, equipment and other workers
  • Adjust hand-wheels and pedals to control blade and bucket attachments, as well as scrapers and swing booms
  • Coordinate machine actions to move and position loads; learn and follow both hand and audio signals from other crew members and know how to give signals to others
  • Operate a variety of heavy equipment such as graders, trucks, power cranes and shovels to move rocks, dirt and other materials
  • Maneuver equipment with attached blades in successive movements across work areas in order to move rocks, vegetation or topsoil and to spread and level terrain
  • Operate bulldozers and tractors to clear land, mix sludge, trim backfills, and build roadways or parking lots; repair and maintain heavy equipment and make emergency adjustments as needed and aid in major repairs
  • Choose bulldozer blades and other attachments and connect them to tractors using hitches; connect hydraulic hoses, mechanical links, belts and more, including power takeoff shafts, with tractors.

Experience and Skills required:

  • 4 years’ work experience
  • G 12 certificate or better
  • Valid driver’s License
  • Teamwork attitude and extreme safety consciousness
  • Full use of hands and feet to feel and control machine movements
  • Ability to perform work in all weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold

Job Description:

Earthwork foreman- positions (2)

Reporting to: the project Manager

Responsibilities

As an earthwork foreman you will be required to:

  • Assist in the coordination of construction activities on large earth moving projects.
  • Inspect construction work as necessary and ensure compliance with quality requirements and standards.
  • Be able to perform all of the essential functions of craft workers under his/her supervision.
  • Use effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Plan, diagram, and lay-out work.
  • Read and understand plans and specifications. Visualize two dimensional drawings in three dimensions.
  • With regard to that portion of the work assigned, develop a complete understanding of the contract plans and specifications, lay-out, installation and/or construction.
  • Examine/inspect field conditions and identify problems, inaccuracies, and cost saving measures that arise or that may be encountered. Take corrective actions as needed.
  • Inspect subordinate’s work for compliance with the contract plans and specifications, point out deficiencies and explain and take any corrective action needed.
  • Listen to other employees and supervisor’s suggestions, complaints, problems, safety concerns and recommendations, evaluate each and then devise and implement a plan of action based on that evaluation.
  • Identify safety hazards you or other employees may be subject to and take all necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize hazards.
  • Perform task planning to safely and efficiently carry out all aspects of that work assigned.
  • Plan and communicate with purchasing personnel and supervisor to assure that an adequate supply of tools, materials and equipment are available.
  • Be self-motivated and work productively. Motivate crews properly.

  • 3 or more years of experience

  • Prior experience successfully managing mass earthwork and grading
  • Must be reliable and dependable

  • Must have proficient knowledge of construction practices.

Structural foreman- positions (1)

Reporting to: the project Manager

Responsibilities

As a structural foreman you will be required to:

  • preparing reports, designs and drawings
  • making calculations about loads and stresses
  • selecting appropriate construction materials
  • providing technical advice
  • obtaining planning and/or building regulations approval
  • liaising with relevant professional staff such as architects
  • monitoring and inspecting work undertaken by contractors

Experience and Skills required:

  • 2-3 years’ work experience
  • Diploma in the related field
  • Creativity
  • Team working and communication skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Project and budget management skills.

Job Description:

Warehouse keeper- positions (1)

Reporting to: The Manager

Responsibilities

As a warehouse keeper you will be required to:

  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
  • Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation
  • Preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule
  • Receiving and processing warehouse stock products

Experience and Skills required:

  • 2-3 years’ work experience
  • G12 certificate and a diploma in the related field
  • Proven working experience as a warehouse worker
  • Familiar with equipment accessories, models, parameters.
