Site Level I-Surge Officer

ICAP at Columbia University, a global health leader situated within the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City, seeks highly qualified candidates to serve as Site Level I-Surge Officer to be based in Southern and Western Provinces, Zambia.

ICAP seeks highly qualified and experienced candidates to fill the Site Level I-Surge Officer position by 1 October 2020. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of a diploma/degree in clinical medicine, nursing or related field.

The incumbent will have demonstrated technical skills in HIV prevention, care and treatment, and excellent grasp of clinical issues. Experience with HIV healthcare delivery or public health management in resource limited setting. Must be trained in management of ART/OIs for Adults and Paediatrics. Trained in and with demonstrated knowledge in current HIV case identification approaches including HIV index testing. Ability to provide daily mentorship to ART providers, nurses and community-based volunteers, supervise and monitor day-to-day activities for community based volunteers and ability to coordinate community activities with health facility In-charges.
