In its quest to maintain quality service delivery, the company seeks to recruit qualified highly motivated and goal-oriented professionals to fill the following positions.
1. Mechanical Fitter (40 positions)
Job Overview
Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical equipment and machinery in the manufacturing facility.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the any repair and Maintenance in the shift
- Up-keeping of the standby equipment.
- Preventive and annual maintenance planning and ensuring all activities are carried out on time.
- Responsible for the 5 S, Top5, Top15 and Top 60 targets.
Minimum Requirements - Education, Experience and Skills
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Craft Certificate /Diploma in Mechanical or relevant qualification.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience in the Food or related Industries
- Through knowledge of maintenance and hands on experience of repair of each equipment's, pumps, blowers, compressor, Gearbox, Mechanical etc.
- Knowledge of Human safety and Equipment safety
2. Electrician (40 positions)
Job Overview
The ideal candidates will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. Must be knowledgeable in electrical codes and safety regulations, and capable of reading blueprints and technical diagrams.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures.
- Inspect electrical components such as circuit breakers.
- Diagnose electrical problems using specialized tools and equipment.
- Ensure electrical systems comply with local and national electrical codes.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Respond promptly to emergency call-outs and troubleshoot issues efficiently.
Minimum Requirements - Education, Experience and Skills
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Craft Certificate /Diploma in Electrical Engineering or relevant qualification
- At least 2 – 3 years’ experience in Electrical Maintenance of fixed plant equipment.
- Member of the Engineering Institute of Zambia.
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and project management software
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
3. Security Manager (1 position )
Job Overview
The Security Manager will be responsible for the overall management and coordination of security operations. This role involves formulating and implementing security policies and procedures, supervising the security team, ensuring the safety of personnel and assets, and liaising with government agencies, law enforcement, and regulatory bodies.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive security policies, procedures, and protocols across all sites.
- Oversee and manage the security team, providing guidance, supervision, and performance evaluations.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Prepare accurate and timely reports on security incidents, investigations, and operational matters.
- Liaise with government agencies, police, courts, and other relevant authorities as required.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Coordinate security operations during emergencies, investigations, and special events.
- Manage security budgets, resources, and procurement of security-related equipment.
- Promote the use of technology and computer systems for efficient security management.
Minimum Requirements - Education, Experience and Skills
- Full Grade 12 Certificate with a minimum of 5 Credits including English and Mathematics
- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Law, Forensics, Criminology, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of progressive experience in security management, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrated experience in policy formulation, procedural development, and report writing.
- Strong knowledge of legal procedures, government regulations, and law enforcement interactions.
- Highly computer literate, with proficiency in relevant software and reporting tools.
- Proven supervisory and leadership skills with the ability to manage multi-site teams.
