Our client is a Church is seeking to recruit an experienced Chartered Accountant to manage its financial operations and ensure sound stewardship of resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and statements.
- Produce monthly management accounts and periodic financial reports.
- Manage budgets, monitor expenditure, and advise leadership on financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (ZRA, NAPSA, NHIMA etc.).
- Reconcile bank accounts and oversee cash flow management.
- Support financial planning for church projects and events.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold integrity in all financial dealings.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of a Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of accounting experience, preferably including preparation of management accounts.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Palladium, Sage, QuickBooks, or Pastel).
- Must be excellent with the use of excel.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and organisational skills.
- Preferably resides in or near Meanwood Ibex or be willing to commute easily to the area.
- Must be a member of ZICA.
