Ipsos is seeking skilled Field Data Collectors to collect vital data through structured interviews. This freelance position offers the flexibility to apply your expertise in a dynamic environment while contributing to our distinguished research services.
Data Collectors-Ndola & Kitwe
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conduct interviews following precise instructions to gather specified data points.
- Address inconsistencies in responses by utilizing effective questioning and clarification techniques.
- Evaluate data for accuracy and completeness post-interview.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise, proposing viable solutions as needed.
- Respond to participant inquiries and escalate concerns appropriately.
- Frequently meet with supervisors to deliver completed tasks and discuss progress.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Android / Smart phone is a must.
- Possession of a Certificate or higher degree in social sciences, communication, or related fields.
- Demonstrated experience with survey methodologies and tools is beneficial.
- Prior experience in research and interviewing is advantageous.
- Proficient understanding of data privacy protocols and ethical considerations in research.
- Capacity to operate efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- National Identification card.
- Valid certificate of good conduct.
- Necessary statutory documents such as T-PIN Number, NRC, and Napsa number.

- High level of integrity.
- Proficient in interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt questioning techniques based on interviewee responses.
- Eagerness to embrace flexible working hours and varied scheduling.
- Self-motivated, ambitious, and able to work independently.

- Maintains good personal hygiene and a pleasant demeanour.
