We are looking to hire a reliable and dedicated Machine Operator to join our team at the mine. The ideal candidate should be:
Minimum 5–8+ years proven experience in GOLD MINING excavation
• Direct experience excavating gold pits (not construction, not quarry)
• Valid heavy equipment operating licence/certificate
• Demonstrated understanding of grade control and selective mining
• Strong mine safety and hazard awareness
• Physically fit for continuous mine shift work
• Zero tolerance history for safety violations preferred
- Hard-working and committed to meeting daily targets
- Flexible and willing to adapt to different tasks as needed
- Able to cooperate well with the team and follow instructions
- Able to operate an excavator confidently and safely
- Responsible for operating machinery safely and efficiently
- Willing to work in a fast-paced mining environment.
Preferred Experience
• Operation of Komatsu, Caterpillar, Doosan, or equivalent mining excavators
• Experience in hard-rock and oxide gold environments
• Familiarity with production reporting and machine hour tracking
