The Security Guard Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily guard operations, discipline, deployment, attendance management, and ensuring all guards meet MCP SECURITY standards.This role requires a mature, firm, reliable, and highly responsible leader who can enforce discipline, solve operational challenges quickly, and maintain client satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Guard Supervision & Deployment
Ensure all sites are manned daily (day & night).
Confirm guard reporting and attendance before each shift.
Ensure guards wear full uniform, are neat, and report sober.
Replace absentees quickly and report to management immediately
Conduct surprise spot checks at all sites.
B. Discipline & Conduct Management
Enforce company rules on absenteeism, drunkenness, late reporting, and uniform violations.
Issue warnings and recommend disciplinary action where needed.
Ensure guards do not sleep on duty or abandon posts.
Prevent guards from reporting in casual clothes or without uniform
C. Training & Performance Monitoring
Train new guards on duties, code of conduct, and company policies.
Coach guards on customer service, patrol, communication, and alertness.
Maintain high performance and discipline across all sites.
D. Reporting & Communication
Submit daily reports on guard attendance, challenges, and site conditions.
Report misconduct, absenteeism, or emergencies without delay.
Coordinate with operations team before making any changes on-site.Address client concerns quickly and professionally.
E. Operational LeadershipEnsure efficient deployment to reduce unnecessary transport costs.
Ensure guards living near sites are prioritized for deployment.
Monitor guard behavior after payday and enforce discipline.
Support investigations on guard misconduct or site-related issues.
3. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Grade 12 full Certificate
Basic Computer literacy
Valid drivers license
Minimum 2–3 years experience in security supervision
Academic qualification in security operations or Management will be an added advantage
Strong leadership, discipline, and operational control
Must be strict, reliable, and confident enforcing rules
Able to communicate clearly in English (writing & speaking)
Physically fit and mentally stable.
No criminal record
Age between 28 and 50 years preferred
