DEAN OF STUDENTS
RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing strong leadership in all aspects of student affairs.
- Overseeing student discipline, welfare, and behavioural support systems.
- Coordinating student activities, clubs, and extracurricular programmes.
- Ensuring compliance with school policies, statutory regulations, and safeguarding standards.
- Leading conflict‑resolution processes, counselling interventions, and disciplinary hearings.
- Working collaboratively with staff, parents, and administrators to promote student success.
- Managing student records, preparing reports, and supporting the overall academic environment.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Applicants must possess:
- Bachelor's degree in Education Management, Leadership and Management, Psychology, Sociology or closely related field.
- Master's degree in Education Management, Leadership and Management, Psychology, Sociology or closely related field.
- PhD in Education Management, Leadership and Management, Psychology, Sociology or closely related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in educational leadership, student affairs, or school administration.
- ZAQA‑certified qualifications.
- Active affiliation to relevant professional bodies, such as:
- Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ)
- Zambia Guidance & Counselling Association (ZGCA)
- Other recognized educational or professional organisations
- 5 O‑levels including English and Mathematics.
- Demonstrated experience in managing student discipline and welfare frameworks.
