About the Job:
We are in search of Technicians proficient in both tracker installations and motor vehicle valuation & assessment. In this role, you will be responsible for installing GPS tracking devices on different types of vehicles and conducting accurate valuations and assessments of motor vehicles. Your expertise will play a crucial role in supporting our operations and ensuring the smooth implementation of our services
Responsibilities:
A. Tracker Installation:
- Install GPS tracking devices on various types of vehicles, including cars, trucks, motorcycles, and other motorized vehicles.
- Ensure proper wiring and positioning of the tracking devices to maximize accuracy and functionality.
- Conduct thorough testing of the installed trackers to verify their functionality and connectivity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during the installation process.
- Provide clear instructions and guidance to customers on how to use the tracking devices effectively.
B. Motor Vehicle Valuation & Assessment:
- Conduct comprehensive valuations and assessments of motor vehicles, considering factors such as condition, market value, and other relevant specifications.
- Follow established guidelines and procedures to ensure accurate and reliable valuations.
- Collect and analyze data, including vehicle history, market trends, and comparable sales, to determine fair and competitive valuations.
- Prepare detailed reports outlining the valuation findings and assessments.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Risk Management, Debt Collections, and Sales, to provide accurate and timely information.
C. Asset Recovery
- Work closely with the Debt Collection team to trace and recover vehicles.
- Assist the debt collection team as and when needed.
General Responsibilities:
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing tracker installations and assessments.
- Maintain accurate records of tracker installations, valuations, and assessments.
- Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices related to tracker installations and motor vehicle valuation & assessment.
- Collaborate with team members and assist when needed.
- Demonstrate professionalism and exceptional customer service in all interactions.
Loan Officer General Responsibilities:
- Liase with customers to determine their needs and recommend the right loan products to help meet their goals
- Maintain an active knowledge base of all of the organization's loan products and an understanding of the qualifications required of each applicant
- Identify and recommend products that meets the customer’s needs and the organization's lending guidelines
- Review active loan files each day to determine if any documents are missing or what can be done to help the process along
- Utilise professional judgement to determine which potential borrowers represent good risk opportunities for the organization
- Manage a portfolio of clients throughout the lifecycle of the loan
Qualifications:
- Craft Certificate, diploma, or equivalent in automotive (electrical or mechanical) engineering.
- Proven experience in GPS tracker installation on various vehicle types will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and wiring and mechanical systems.
- Previous experience in motor vehicle valuation & assessment is highly desirable.
- A valid driver’s license for cars and motorbikes will be an added advantage.
- Excellent technical skills and troubleshooting abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
