POWER ELECTRICIAN
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Diagnosing electrical problems using diagrams and blueprints
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems
- Assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using hand and power tools
- Inspecting, troubleshooting, and conducting electrical tests
- Identifying faults using a range of testing devices
- Safely operating various hand and power tools
- Planning the layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
- Ensuring compliance with all safety standards and regulations
Qualifications & Requirements
- Grade 12 Certificate with a minimum of five (5) “O” Levels including English and Mathematics
- Craft Certificate in Power Electrical or a related field
- Fully paid-up Member of the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ)
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
