Swiss Guard Security Company Limited invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Deployment & Mobile supervisors. The roles reports to the Area Regional Manager and will be based in Ndola, Kitwe and Lusaka
1. Mobile Supervisors
Job Purpose
Oversee and monitor security guards and operations at various locations. Mobile supervisors will be required to travel between client sites to ensure guards are performing duties professionally and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
I. Conduct Routine Patrols & Inspections -This includes, visit client sites on a scheduled or random basis, check guards’ presence, appearance, conduct, and adherence to duties, and assess site security conditions and identify breaches or risks.
II. Ensure Compliance-Make sure guards follow company policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and legal requirements under Zambian law, and verify guard documentation (log books, incident reports, patrol records).
III. Training, Coaching & Mentoring-Provide on-the-spot guidance and feedback to security guards, Reinforce quality standards, customer service basics, and rules of engagement.
IV. Communication & Coordination-Serve as a link between site guards, control Centre, and management and ensure that information is relayed, escalate issues, or coordinate backup support when necessary.
V. Client Relations-Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients and address client concerns about guard performance or site conditions.
VI. Record-Keeping & Documentation-Maintain logs of supervisory visits, observations, and actions taken and Prepare reports that help improve operational planning.
2. Deployment Supervisors
Main Role
To oversee the deployment and performance of security guards in the field, ensuring that services are delivered according to the contract, company policy, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assignment & Scheduling-Plans and organizes deployment schedules for security guards based on client requirements, ensures appropriate guard-to-post allocation, accounting for shifts, attendance, and replacements.
2. Field Monitoring & Supervision-Conducts regular onsite visits to client locations, Monitors guard performance to ensure compliance with standards and client protocols and Provides direction and support to guards during shifts.
3. Communication & Coordination-Acts as the main link between guards on duty and higher management, Communicate operational changes, emergency instructions, and client feedback, Coordinates replacements and shift adjustments promptly when required.
4. Performance Management-Assesses conduct and performance of guards, reports disciplinary or training needs to line managers and helps build team discipline and morale in the field.
5. Reporting & Documentation-Prepares deployment reports, incident logs, attendance records and shift summaries, reports any security incidents promptly to control room or management, ensures accurate handover documentation between shifts.
6. Client Interaction-Liaises with client representatives regarding service delivery issues, ensures client expectations are met and reports client feedback.

- Knowledge of security operations, deployment and emergency response procedures.
Qualification, Skill and Experience
- Full Grade twelve Certificate
- Must possess a rider’s license
- Security training (military, police or similar background preferred).
- At least 3 years’ experience in Security supervision
- Honest and reliable
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Aged 30 years and above
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong ability to train and induct security guards
