In order to achieve its mandate Eastern Water and Sanitation Company is advertising for the following positions:-
1. STATION SUPERVISORS (SALARY GRADE G1; MWAMI AND LUMEZI – REQUIRED 2)
JOB PURPOSE
To oversee the daily operations, maintenance, a monitoring of the water abstraction, treatment and supply system to ensure continuous, safe, and reliable water delivery to consumers.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Grade 12 Certificate with at least 5 ‘O’ levels including English & Mathematics
· Diploma in Water Engineering
· 1 year related experience
- Current paid up member of a respective professional body
- Driving and or Motorcycle Riding’ Licenses are a must
2. PLANT SUPERVISORS (SALARY GRADE G2; CHAMA AND CHADIZA; REQUIRED 2)
JOB PURPOSE
To supervise the water treatment plant operators in order to ensure effective and efficient plant operation, production, treatment and distribution of potable water
QUALIFICATIONS
· Grade 12 Certificate with at least 5 ‘O’ levels including English & Mathematics
· Diploma in Water Engineering
· 1 year related experience
- Current paid up member of a respective professional body
