Looking for a qualified and experienced Laboratory Technician to join our team in Silverest. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of water quality testing, sensory evaluation (water tasting), and quality control within our bottled water production process.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine water quality testing to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Perform sensory evaluation (water tasting) to monitor taste, odor, and product consistency.
- Implement and monitor quality control procedures throughout the water packaging process.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and reports of all tests conducted.
- Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with food safety and beverage industry standards.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Laboratory Technology, Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Experience working in a water packaging/bottling or beverage production industry is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of water quality standards and testing procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and good record-keeping skills.
- Good communication and reporting abilities.
