About the Role: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) safely and effectively
- Load and unload deliveries
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
Education & Certification
- High school certificate (Grade 12 or equivalent) is typically the minimum requirement.
- Logistics or warehouse training is an added advantage.
- Forklift license/certification preferred.
Experience
- 2+ years of warehouse or logistics experience.
- Having knowledge in receiving, dispatching, picking, packing, and inventory control.
- Experience in operating material handling equipment (MHE) such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or reach trucks.
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience
- Ability to lift and move heavy items
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Team player with good communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible shifts if required

- Physically fit: able to stand for long periods.
- Attention to detail: accuracy in labeling, stock placement, and documentation.
- Basic numeracy and literacy for handling counts and paperwork.
- Computer/data entry skills for warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Time management and organizational skills to meet daily targets.
- Communication skills for coordination with drivers, supervisors, and other departments.
