About the Project - Empowering Youth through Technical Excellence for the Zambian Mining Industry
Liebherr Zambia, in cooperation with Fountain Gate Crafts and Trades School (FGCATS), is implementing a project to establish a sustainable dual apprenticeship program. Work Package 1 – Activity 6 focuses on developing short-term modular courses to expand access, generate revenue, and support sustainability.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced External Expert to design, develop, and implement short-term, market-oriented technical training courses. The expert will work closely with trainers, management, and industry partners. The assignment is expected to commence on 01 June 2026 and will run for a duration of approximately three months (about 60 working days).
Key Responsibilities
- Support the core development team
- Define a portfolio of short-term modular courses
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement
- Identify high-demand training topics
- Develop and implement at least four pilot courses
- Deliver selected training courses
- Ensure practical, hands-on course formats
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Background in TVET
- Experience in curriculum development
- Technical industry experience (mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, digital, 3D printing)
- Training delivery experience
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
- High-level computer and MS Office skills
