URGENT JOB VACANCY – 75 TON CRANE OPERATOR
Location: Maamba Power Station, Zambia
We are a Chinese construction company currently working on a major project at Maamba Power Station and we are urgently looking for a qualified and experienced 75 Ton Crane Operator to join our team immediately for long-term employment.
Job Requirements:
- Male candidate preferred
- Preferred age: 35 – 45 years
- Must have a valid crane operating licence recognized in Zambia
- Minimum 3 years proven experience operating heavy cranes
- Experience working on large construction projects, industrial sites, or power station projects will be an added advantage
- Must have good knowledge of lifting operations and site safety procedures
- Responsible, disciplined, mature, and able to work under minimum supervision
- Must be able to adapt to construction site working arrangements and overtime when required
- Candidates available for immediate start will have an added advantage
Main Duties:
- Operate a 75 Ton Crane for lifting heavy equipment, construction materials, and machinery
- Carry out daily crane inspection before starting work
- Ensure all lifting operations are done safely and according to site safety standards
- Perform basic maintenance checks and report any mechanical problems when necessary
- Work closely with supervisors and site teams to complete assigned lifting tasks safely and efficiently
- Follow all company safety rules and construction site regulations strictly
Working Hours:
Morning Shift:
07:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Afternoon Shift:
01:30 PM – 05:30 PM
This is an active construction site, therefore work is arranged according to project progress and there are no fixed off days.
Occasional night overtime may be required and overtime allowance will be paid separately.
Salary and Benefits:
- Monthly Salary: ZMW 17,000 – ZMW 20,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)
