Huachen International Supply Chain Limited is seeking to employ a Tracking Control Intern to join our team.
POSITION: Tracking Control Intern (X1)
LOCATION: Ndola
JOB PURPOSE
To assist with day-to-day tasks involved in managing the company’s fleet, real-time GPS tracking and monitoring.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor and track the status and movement of shipments and fleet trucks in real-time using company tracking systems and software.
- Provide timely updates to clients and internal teams regarding shipment progress, fleet movement, and any delays.
- Identify, report, and resolve operational issues or delays by coordinating with drivers, escorts, carriers, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date tracking records, shipment information, and fleet movement data.
- Collaborate with the operations team to improve tracking procedures, systems, and operational efficiency.
- Prepare and submit tracking reports, fleet movement reports, and performance analysis as required.
- Ensure compliance with all logistics, transportation, and company regulations and procedures.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
1. Diploma in Transport and Logistics
2. Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field is preferred.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
6. Proficient in using tracking systems and software.
7. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
NOTE. All interviews will be conducted in person at our Sakania Office in Ndola.
