ABOUT LDWDA & THE YEE PROJECT
Lundazi District Women Development Association (LDWDA) is the implementing partner for the Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship (YEE) Project in three districts — Chasefu, Lundazi, and Lumezi. The project is funded by donors through SNV Netherlands Development Organisation, which channels support to LDWDA to deliver the project on the ground. LDWDA targets 3,800 youths across the three districts, with a 50% gender balance criterion, to create sustainable economic opportunities in rural Zambia.
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Data Entry & Administration Officer will support the day-to-day administrative and data management functions of the YEE Project across all three districts. The role requires accuracy, organisation, and a willingness to travel between districts as project needs demand.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Enter, maintain, and update project data accurately in databases and registers across all three districts
• Manage and organise physical and digital project files, records, and correspondence
• Support the M&E Officer in data collection, cleaning, and verification exercises
• Track youth registration, attendance, and participation records in line with the 3,800 youth target and 50% gender balance criterion
• Prepare administrative documents, letters, meeting minutes, and routine reports
• Manage office supplies, procurement records, and logistics for field activities
• Provide administrative support for project events, training sessions, and community engagements
• Assist with the preparation of financial records and supporting documents as required
• Maintain confidentiality and proper data protection practices at all times
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Minimum of a Diploma in Business Administration, Records Management, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and basic data entry systems)
• Good attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of data accurately
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability and willingness to work across three districts (Chasefu, Lundazi, and Lumezi)
• Prior experience in an NGO or development project setting is an advantage
• Good written and spoken English; knowledge of local languages is an asset
