About The Role
To deliver practical and theoretical training in mobile industrial high-voltage
systems, instrumentation, controls, automation, diagnostics and safe HV
operations to trainees.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop lesson plans covering internal combustion diesel engine
technology, advanced hydraulic systems, drivetrain systems, telematics
and diagnostics, as well as preventive and predictive maintenance
principles
• Deliver classroom and workshop-based training on high-voltage (HV)
safety, isolation, switching, and commissioning procedures
• Provide training on instrumentation, sensors, CANBUS, control systems,
and diagnostic methodologies
• Supervise practical HV exercises and fault-finding activities.
• Conduct assessments and maintain compliance documentation.
• Support development of laboratories and simulators.
• Ensure regulatory and safety compliance.
• Guide trainees in electrical and electronic diagnostics
• Demonstrate use of diagnostic software and measurement equipment
• Supervise troubleshooting of electrical and control systems.
• Tech diagnostics and telematics principles and applications in OEM
settings
• Maintain training records and support curriculum reviews and
improvement
• Coordinate closely with workplace mentors to support on-the-job learning.
• Review and validate apprentice logbooks and workplace evidence.
• Participate in apprentice progress and review meetings.
• Design and conduct formative and summative assessments.
• Maintain accurate assessment and training records.
• Participate in moderation processes, audits, and accreditation reviews.
• Coach and develop apprentices and trainees.
• Supervise workshop-based practical training.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Assess competence against defined standards.
About The Work Environment
• Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00 hours to 16:00 hours, excluding public holidays
• Training workshops & Laboratories
• Occasional outdoor or Industrial partner facilities
• Exposure to heavy equipment and outdoor field work.
• Standing and supervising trainees for extended periods
Educational Qualifications
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics
• Diploma - Teaching Methodology

Experience
