Job Purpose
The Land Surveyor will be responsible for conducting land surveys, preparing survey reports, boundary demarcations, and providing technical support for construction and land development projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct field surveys including cadastral, topographical, and construction surveys Prepare survey plans, maps, etc
2. Boundary demarcation, subdivision, and beacon placement
3. Ensure surveys comply with Lands Department and Surveyor Institution of Zambia standards
4. Liaise with clients, Lands Department, and local authorities on survey matters
Qualifications & Requirements
1. Surveyor who has a Bachelor's Degree in Geomatic/Civil Engineering and is registered with SIZ
2. Valid Grade 12 Certificate with 5 'O' levels including Mathematics and English
3. Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS/QGIS, and MS Office4
4. Physically fit and able to work in various field conditions
5. Female surveyors are encouraged to apply.
6. Should be able to use surveying instruments such as total stations and RTK
Preferred Attributes
1. Experience with construction site surveys and general dealership projects is an added advantage
2. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
3. Good communication and report writing skills
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
