Our client is a Church is seeking to recruit an experienced Chartered Accountant to manage its financial operations and ensure sound stewardship of resources.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and statements.
Produce monthly management accounts and periodic financial reports.
Manage budgets, monitor expenditure, and advise leadership on financial performance.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (ZRA, NAPSA, NHIMA etc.).
Reconcile bank accounts and oversee cash flow management.
Support financial planning for church projects and events.
Maintain confidentiality and uphold integrity in all financial dealings.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum of a Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
At least 5 years of accounting experience, preferably including preparation of management accounts.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Palladium, Sage, QuickBooks, or Pastel).
Must be excellent with the use of excel.
Strong analytical, reporting, and organisational skills.
Preferably resides in or near Meanwood Ibex or be willing to commute easily to the area.
Must be a member of ZICA.
