The logistics & office operations officer will be responsible for managing day-to-day logistics and administrative activities, ensuring smooth coordination of operations, supporting clients, and contributing ideas to promote and grow the business.

Qualifications

Grade Twelve (12) Certificate (mandatory)
Advanced Certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (minimum requirement)
Any higher qualification (Diploma/Degree) is an added advantage
At least one year of experience in logistics, office operations, or a related field
Basic understanding of clearing and forwarding procedures is an added advantage
Familiarity with RTSA processes is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)
Proficiency in advert designs (especially canvas and Photoshop)
Ability to develop and suggest marketing ideas to promote company services
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Good communication and customer service skills

Key Responsibilities

1. Logistics Coordination

Coordinate clearing and forwarding activities with agents, clients, and relevant authorities
Track shipments and ensure the timely delivery of goods
Prepare and process logistics documentation (invoices, delivery notes, permits, customs documents)
Follow up on consignments and resolve delays or issues.

2. Office Operations Management

Manage daily office administrative tasks
Maintain proper filing systems (both physical and digital)
Ensure smooth office operations and availability of supplies

3. Warehouse & Inventory Support

Assist in warehouse operations and stock management
Monitor inventory movement and maintain accurate records
Ensure proper storage and handling of goods

4. Motor Vehicle Services Support

Facilitate the buying and selling of motor vehicles on behalf of clients
Assist with motor vehicle registration processes
Liaise with RTSA and other regulatory bodies

5. Client Service & Communication

Act as a point of contact for clients
Provide updates on ongoing services
Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders

6. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate operational records
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports
Ensure compliance with company and regulatory procedures

7. Marketing & Business Development Support

Suggest and implement marketing ideas to promote the company's services
Identify new business opportunities and potential clients
Support social media and outreach activities
Assist in growing the company’s client base
