Role Purpose

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our real estate team. The successful candidate will support financial operations, manage property-related accounts, and contribute to informed business decisions. The role requires strong analytical ability, negotiation skills, and a solid understanding of amortization within a real estate environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
Handle property-related transactions, including rental income and expense tracking
Develop and manage amortization schedules for loans and property investments
Assist in financial negotiations, contracts, and payment arrangements
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls
Use accounting systems and computer tools effectively for reporting and analysis

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong computer skills, including accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Good negotiation skills
Understanding of accounting principles and amortization
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience
Experience in real estate or property management is an added advantage
