Branch Manager – Kitwe
Job Content
The purpose of the job is to supervise the Operations of the Branch involving clearing and forwarding of goods through Customs on behalf of our clients. The Manager will also be involved in marketing and sales to increase the clientele base and retention of old clients.
Principle responsibilities;
- The Manager will be expected to plan, organize, control and monitor all the activities at the branch.
- He/she will be accountable of all transactions generated at the branch, by ensuring that, only approved company transactions are processed and that invoices are issued accordingly and funds collected at the right time. In addition, being in charge of the branch, the manager will plan the staffing levels and motivate staff to work as a team in order to achieve the objectives of the organization. He/she should also have the following competences.
Qualifications and skills
- Full Grade Twelve Certificate
- First Degree orAdvanced Diploma in Business Administration
- Clearing and Forwarding Diploma
- More than five years working experience in the Freight Forwarding Industry at Senior Level
- Knowledge and understanding of The Customs Legislation
- Knowledge and understanding of ASYCU DA
- Knowledgeable in Transport & Logistics
- Managerial/Leadership and Good communication skills
- Skills in Customer/Clientrelations and services
