The company now seeks the services of highly motivated, qualified, and experienced individuals for its new Gypsum manufacturing plant located in Ndola’s Heavy Industrial Area. Applications are invited for multiple positions as shown below.

1. Sales Administrator

Reporting to Finance Administrator

Role and responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the commercial manager.
  • Maintain all product and pricing information on customer profiles.
  • Create revised price lists as required and issue to customers at agreed times.
  • Process all incoming orders received via telephone, email or any other platform.
  • Enter all orders on the system, ensuring quantities, prices and discounts are accurate.
  • Issuing order confirmations to customers and maintain daily sales orders.
  • Manage the invoicing and acquittals process for all sales.
  • Ensure that deliveries to customers are timely according to purchase orders.

Required qualifications and experience.

  • Grade 12 full school certificate
  • At least 3 years’ experience in similar position
  • Diploma in Business Administration
  • Qualification and experience in Finance, sales planning or operations will be an added advantage.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing industry will be a plus.
  • Membership to professional body will be an added advantage.
  • Attention to detail, organization, problem solving are essential for this role.
  • Proficient in Pastel

2. Accounts Assistant – Receivables

Reporting to Finance Administrator

Role and responsibilities

  • Prepares, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions
  • Creates invoices according to company practices
  • Submits invoices to customers
  • Maintains and update customer files.
  • Keep track of account transactions and payments on customer accounts
  • Generate monthly statements.
  • Assist Finance Administrator in reconciling revenue accounts each month.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to details
  • Carry out all collection activities to ensure that receivables are collected on time.
  • Proficient in Pastel

Required qualifications and experience.

  • Grade 12 full school certificate
  • At least 3 years’ experience in similar position
  • Diploma in Accountancy or Zica Technician
  • Prior experience in manufacturing industry will be a plus.
  • Membership to professional body will be an added advantage.
  • Attention to detail, organization, problem solving are essential for this role.

3. Accounts Assistant – Payables

Reporting to Finance Administrator

Role and responsibilities

  • Prepare outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payables.
  • Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Verify and investigate discrepancies if any by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements.
  • Generate reports detailing accounts payables status.
  • Submit payment requests in a timely manner.
  • Proficient in Pastel

Required qualifications and experience.

  • Grade 12 full school certificate
  • At least 3 years’ experience in similar position
  • Solid understanding of accounting payable principles
  • Hands on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary accounting software
  • Diploma in Accountancy or Zica Technician
  • Prior experience in manufacturing industry will be a plus.
  • Membership to professional body will be an added advantage.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to details

4. Production Planner (1)

Reporting to Plant Manager

  • Known in other environments as Metallurgical Accountant or Plant Statistician,
  • Production Planner is responsible for detailed mass balancing across the plant in immediate time, as well as in forward time. This operation provides Production and Finance teams with both.
  • Reporting information on plant performance as well as forward planning information for Sales forecasts.
  • Must be highly analytical in thought and steady in working under intense stakeholder pressure.

Required qualifications and experience.

  • Grade 12 full school certificate
  • At least 3 years’ experience in similar position
  • Diploma or Degree in Production Management combined with chemical technology knowledge,
  • A qualification in Chemical Engineering or Metallurgy would be highly advantageous.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing industry will be a plus.
  • Membership to professional body will be an added advantage
