Communications manager

We are looking for a communications manager to create, implement and oversee internal or external communications programs. We need a hard working reliable person to effectively describe and promote the organization and its products. This role often works in conjunction with the marketing department and typically report to the head of department.

Communications manager requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing or Communications
  • Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • A grade 12 certificate
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout and design, professional printing/publishing skills are essential, including the ability to present concepts verbally
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Superior project management and time management skills
  • 3 years of work experience in marketing or a similar field

Communications Manager Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee all internal and external communications and ensure the message is consistent and engaging
  • Marketing budget development and cost tracking
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies that build customer loyalty programs, brand awareness, and customer satisfaction
  • Plan and manage the design, content, and production of all marketing materials
  • Replying to emails
  • Execute orders until delivery
