NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION
The National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA) is an Institute established in 1963 and exists under the Act of Parliament No. 15 1998 and has two (2) campuses namely Ndola Campus located along Arusha Street in Ndola and Burma Campus along Burma Road in Lusaka.
NIPA hereby invites applications from organisations and individuals to register as suppliers and contractors for the provision of goods and services to the Institution in the listed categories below:
A. GOODS

- Office Furniture & School desks
- General Stationery
- Consumables including toner cartridges
- Plumbing and Electrical materials
- Supply of Air Conditioners
- Pharmaceutical Supplies
- Supply of Cleaning materials
- Fire Fighting Equipment
- IT Hardware ,Equipment and Accessories
- Corporate attires and safety wear, graduation gowns, T – Shirts & Corporate Shirts, caps
- Security Equipment & Spares (CCTV & Access Control)
- Supply of tyres, lubricants, tubes, fitment alignment services
- Supply of fuels– (term contracts applicable)
B. SERVICES
- Printing
- Maintenance of computers, copiers, printers, scanners– (term contracts applicable)
- Servicing of Air Conditioners-(term contracts applicable)
- Servicing of Firefighting Equipment-(term contracts applicable)
- Cleaning Services including sanitary service – (term contracts applicable)
- Pest Control and Garbage collection
- Outside Catering (term contracts applicable)
- Event planning services
- Plumbing, Electrical, Construction and repair works
- Water tank cleaning services
- Professional IT support and Consultancy services
- Software Licenses
- Network Infrastructure services
- Pastel Evolution Support
- Security Services – (term contracts applicable)
- Insurance services
- Legal Services
- Motor vehicle repairs and servicing garages – (term contracts applicable)
- Travel Agency (Local and International air travel)
PRE-QUALIFICATION FOR SUPPLIERS
- Company Profile – clearly indicating physical address, telephones and email address, company directors
- Valid copies of certificate of registration and incorporation
- Valid ZRA Tax Registration and Tax clearance certification
- ZPPA Certificate
- Recent and current trade references
- Details of similar contracts (attach orders, job completion certificates etc.)
- Vendors are required to submit their latest financial statements (Audited or Certified and these should be less than 24 months)
- A reference letter from a professional services firm Bankers, Auditors or Lawyers) should be attached
- Proof of Registration with NCC for construction or any other regulatory bodies
- Proof of Franchise-(Where applicable)
- Bidders are required to attach the above documents to the NIPA Supplier Registration Form which can be obtained from accounts office upon depositing a nonrefundable fee of Kwacha One Hundred and Fifty (K150.00) in the NIPA ZANACO Account. No 0020548300144, CIVIC CENTRE BRANCH.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR TERM CONTRACTS (QUOTATION):
- Unit prices for good / service offered (Expected for 2020).
- Billing methods (Fixed per activity or Variable – % of material / components used)
- Payment terms
- Any other information relevant to Product / Service
National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA) shall undertake a preliminary evaluation and only successful firms will be notified. All Applications must be labeled, “Registration of Suppliers of Goods and Services for the Year 2020” and deposited in the Tender Box stationed at NIPA, Plot 4810, Dushanbe Road, Lusaka. All Service providers or suppliers who were previously or are currently providing services or supplies to the Institution must re-register as they will not be automatically included in the database.
