Job Title: Field Supervisor
Location: Mbala
We are looking for a field Supervisor to oversee our field operations in Mbala, Isanya Estate. As a Field Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a team of field workers and ensuring that all work is carried out efficiently and to a high standard. We are particularly interested in local people who have a good understanding of the area and its community.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of field workers and ensure that all works is carried out efficiently and to a high standard.
- Plan and coordinate field operations, including scheduling work, assigning tasks and monitoring progress.
- Ensure that all equipment and materials are available and in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and ensure that all relevant paperwork is completed on time.
- Provide guidance and support to field workers, including training and development were necessary.
- Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a field-based environment.
- Diploma in Agricultural Science.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- A good understanding of the local area and its community.
- Motorbike licence.
