Health Shield Medical Services (HSMS) Limited is a subsidiary company for Premier Service Holding Company (PSHC) headquartered in Zimbabwe. It is a company duly registered under PACRA and HPCZ and was incorporated for the sole purpose of providing healthcare services, HSMS Limited adopted the Integrated Family Healthcare business model with all services offered under one roof. HSMS aims to serve patients from all walks of life including members of the PSMAS (Z) scheme, other insurance companies and corporate clients.
HSMS continues to grow and in order to meet the increasing demand from its clients, the following position is being offered on a full time basis:-
1. Radiographer
Main duties
Ensures Radiation Protection and safety measures are adhered to
Reads and interprets ultrasound scan results
Refer patients # to the next station after ultrasound scan, depending on the results
Reports timely, any malfunction of equipment to the Team Leader
Ensures safety of all radiological equipment
Ensures and verifies that all radiology forms are completed accurately
Prepares timely and quality ultrasound reports
Follows and adheres to the guidelines of Good Clinical Practices
Provides timely feedback (positive and negative) to team leader regarding radiology forms completion and accuracy
Consults clinician on difficult ultrasound interpretation
Communicates with fellow staff members openly and honestly about radiological related issues
Reviews and contribute to the development of study materials and tools.
Qualifications and Requirements:-
Full Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent
Diploma in Radiography from a recognized institution
Fully registered with the Health Professions Council of Zambia
Knowledge and Practical skill of UltraSound examinations is a prerequisite
Strong interpersonal skills.

Experience:
At least Three years post qualification.
