We are in the food processing industry and situated along Kafue road, Lusaka. We are urgently looking for a suitably qualified individual to take up the position of Fitter and Turner.
Job Description
Metal machining, overhauling and repairing all types of machinery i.e. pumps, turbines, mills, conveyors, etc.The successful candidate will be responsible for studying blueprints, plans, drawings, construction, assembly, manufacture, and fit parts of machines. He will also be responsible for maintaining and repairing different types of machinery.
Responsibilities
- Maintains and repairs machinery
- Assembles and fits components for machinery
- Uses blueprints/plans to measure material for production
- Monitors machinery and repairs faults
- Fits parts required to complete the machine
Additional Skills
- Knowledge of extruding machines and/or oil expelling machines will be an added advantage.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Mechanical fitter/ Fitting and Turning Craft Certificate/Diploma
- Not more than 35 years of age
- At least 5 years hands on experience
