AB Bank Zambia Limited is a bank with the mission to improve access to a broad range of financial services for the majority of Zambian businesses and their owners in a sustainable and efficient manner.
In order to support the Administration department, we are currently looking for the services of a Procurement Officer.
Main responsibilities:
- Coordinating and preparing tender documents
Preparing quarterly reports and coordinating the quarterly procurement committee meetings - Contract management
- Relationship management of all stakeholders
- Setting key performance indicators for suppliers and setting standards against which suppliers are evaluated
- Performing market surveys and procurement research and advising Management on market trends, pricing and products
- Negotiating of price and delivery times for all goods and services
- Preparing all purchase orders and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services
Minimum requirements:
- A degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management or related
- 2-3 years progressive work experience in Procurement particularly in a similar capacity as Procurement Officer
- Have strong computer skills (proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
- Capacity to perform in a fast paced environment
- Friendly and service oriented behavior
- Professionalism and integrity
- Excellent communication, writing and organizational skills
