1. Zambia Vacancy: Project Facilitator HMFII

Petauke, Zambia

Salary negotiated depending on experience

40 hours per week

Six (6) Months Fixed term Contract

Send a Cow Zambia (SACZ) are currently looking for a Project Facilitator for our Hope Means future phase Two project.

The Main Duties involved in this role are to:

  • Deliver training on integrated nutrition sensitive farming systems.
  • Mobilise and train women farmer groups in sustainable agriculture practices, gender and social inclusion and business enterprise.
  • Implement project activities as determined by the project design.
  • Work directly with farmer groups and other target groups.
  • Plan, monitor progress and impact of the project.
  • Ensure review of progress at regular intervals in line with project budget and work plans, outcomes in line with the log frame.
  • Collaborate with government officials and other implementing stallholders to ensure project activity synergies and broader contribution to the overall goal and objectives of the project.
  • Collaborate with other Project Facilitators in Ministry of Community Development (COMDEV), Ministry of Agriculture (MoA), Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries ( MoLF) to ensure project activity synergies and broader contribution to the overall goal and objectives of the project.
  • Ensure good networking and collaboration with government and other development partners.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor

The job holder will be an Administrative Assistant working in Petauke district of Zambia. He or she will report to the Send a Cow Zambia (SACZ) Finance and Administration Officer. The job holder will also be a member of the SAC Finance Team.

3. Zambia Vacancy: Project Facilitator – PENRM Project

We give poor families and communities the hope and the means to secure their own futures from the land, in line with our vision of a confident and thriving rural Africa. Send a Cow Zambia (SACZ) has received a grant from Action Aid Zambia to start a new project known us “Petauke Natural Resource Management” in Petauke District districts of Zambia. SACZ is recruiting 1 project facilitator who will be based in the field, by the communities that he/she will work with.

The post holder will report to the SACZ Country Manager. The job holder will also be a member of the SAC International Programme Team and work closely with the other in-country and UK programme Team.
