Receptionist/Front Office Clerk
Duties and Responsibities
The successful candidate will be expected to perform the below (but not limited to) tasks:
• Greeting guests on arrival at the lodge.
• Processing check-ins and explaining key facilities within the hotel including on-site restaurant
• Taking bookings by phone and walk in’s and recording all details in our system
• Providing advice and information about local attractions, restaurants and transport options
• Creating final bills at check-out and processing payments
• Helping guests with special requests, for example wake-up services
• Taking messages and passing them on to guests promptly
• Dealing with guest complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner
• Liaising with housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are available for check-in

• The ability to maintain professional standards under pressure
• Strong IT skills and knowledge of booking systems and software
Education & Qualifications
• A minimum of 2 years work experience in a similar role
• Full grade 12 certificate
• Must be physically fit, as the role requires moving around at times, and working night shift. It also involves standing for many hours when required.
Remuneration: In the region of K1,500.00 – K1,950.00 (depending on experience).
