About the Role
We’re looking for a bold and driven HR Business Partner to join our team in Maamba. This is a strategic role where you’ll not only provide end-to-end HR consultancy services but also champion talent management, employee engagement, and performance excellence. You’ll be the trusted advisor to line managers, helping them unlock productivity, nurture talent, and build a culture where people thrive.
What You’ll Do
• Shape the HR environment: Translate strategic objectives into actionable HR initiatives, support organizational design, and lead change management.
• Drive talent management: Partner with managers to identify, develop, and retain high-potential employees. Build succession plans and career pathways that strengthen our leadership pipeline.
• Boost employee engagement & productivity: Champion initiatives that enhance workplace culture, resolve grievances effectively, and ensure employees feel valued and motivated.
• Lead performance management: Embed the performance review process, coach managers and employees, and ensure quality checks on performance plans. Provide insights that drive continuous improvement and accountability.
• Support recruitment & onboarding: Guide manpower planning, interviews, pay strategy, and induction to ensure smooth integration of new talent.
• Fuel learning & development: Identify training needs, monitor effectiveness, and recommend improvements to build future-ready skills.
• Champion rewards & recognition: Educate managers on pay strategies, incentive schemes, and payroll policies to ensure fairness and consistency.
• Guide employee transitions: Manage exits, contract renewals, and restructure communications with empathy and professionalism.
What We’re Looking For
• Experience: 5+ years of formal work experience, with at least 3 years in HR (project management or HR support).
• Knowledge: Strong grasp of local labour laws, HR regulations, and best practices.
• Membership: Must be a registered member of ZIHRM.
• Preferred: Degree in HR Management or equivalent, plus project or business management experience.
