Job Title: MTN Zambia Foundation Specialist
The key responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to the following:
- Monitors all CSI activities online with a goal of building and maintaining an engaged digital community.
- Regularly updates all social media platforms operated by the Foundation.
- Manages day-to-day interactions with digital media and creative advertising agencies.
- Collaborate with the media agency to develop strategies and media content that distinguish the MTN Zambia Foundation in the market.
- Provide weekly/monthly reports to the supervisor according to their requirements and as when needed.
- Organize filming and photography for all Foundation activities and archive them for future reference.
- Assist in preparing motivations for project implementation, prepare regular reports on project implementation and expenses upon request by the Foundation Coordinator.
- Collect and save PR and CSI content (videos and pictures) unto the shared drive.
Candidate Requirements
- Degree in Media Relations or Mass Communication and Public Relations or Journalism and/or Project Management.
- At least 3 years proven experience in public relations, management of social media and digital marketing for donor agencies or community-based organisations or Non-Governmental Organisations (NGO).
- Experience in management and implementation of communication plans and tracking performance of the media content and campaigns.
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with industry professionals or social media influencers.
- Experience in fund raising, budget management and financial reporting.
